Warsaw has been the capital of Poland for 400 years and has numerous historical sites and fascinating museums to show for it. The city is the jumble of diverse architecture: Gothic, Classicist, modernist, communist concrete, modern glass, and steel. This fascinating collection of landmarks results from its’ tumultuous history, including the near destruction at the end of WW II. To learn more about Warsaw’s complex history, go for a walk across the restored Old Town or visit one of Warsaw’s excellent museums, such as the Warsaw Uprising Museum or POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, both located within a 3km radius from the conference venue.

When you tire of history, Warsaw’s restaurant and entertainment scene are the best in Poland. You can take your choice of excellent and affordable restaurants or lively clubs and cocktail bars.
